Firefighters in Everett were battling two large house fires Tuesday night.
The first was in the 10100 block of Idaho Avenue and firefighter said it was fully involved when they arrived. They took a defense approach; the front of the house and split-level lower area were engulfed.
The Red Cross was helping six people after the home fire on Idaho Avenue.
The Red Cross planned to meet on Wednesday with two people who were safe after the other Everett home fire on 27th Drive Southeast, staff said in a tweet.
