Nigerian Officials Die in Helicopter Crash


Heaps of burnt metal litter a Nigerian forest - the remains of a helicopter crash. A governor, former national security adviser, two aides and two pilots were killed when the Navy helicopter nose-dived Saturday. Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa was the first Christian governor of Kaduna, a state at the heart of religious clashes between the Muslim north and Christian south. He and the other officials were returning from a funeral in the southern Bayelsa state.
