Northline Sounder service between Everett and Seattle has been canceled through Wednesday after a mudslide occurred Monday evening.
Sound Transit announced plans for special buses with express service to Northline Sounder stations for the morning commute.
Extra buses will be added to State Route 510 morning service to provide additional trips from Everett to Seattle.
Morning bus service
Everett-Seattle: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 at Everett Station bay C1, departing approximately every 10 minutes. Three additional special buses will also depart Everett Station at 6:15 a.m., 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. to accommodate Sounder riders.
Mukilteo-Seattle: An additional special bus will depart Mukilteo Station (traffic circle) at 6:56 a.m. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 417 at the Ferry Terminal departing at 5:49 a.m., 6:21 a.m., 6:51 a.m., and 7:53 a.m.
Edmonds-Seattle: An additional special bus will depart Edmonds Station at 7:11 a.m. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station departing at 6:15 a.m., 6:35 a.m., 6:55 a.m., and 7:47 a.m.
*All special morning buses will provide express service to 5th and Jackson in Seattle.
