Motorcyclist hurt in Belltown crash

SEATTLE — A motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon in a crash in Belltown, police said.

According to authorities, the man, in his 20s, crashed with construction equipment near Third Avenue and Bell Street.

Medics took the man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“When we came, he was lying on the ground with his head on the side, and there was a huge laceration on his arm. When they were taking him I saw his bone sticking out,” said eyewitness Clementine Brewer.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
