Motorcyclist dead, driver injured in Mason County crash

MASON COUNTY, Wash. — A Mason County crash killed a man driving a motorcycle and injured a woman in a car Saturday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The collision happened on State Route 106 at Milepost 10, just south of Shore Road.

The State Patrol said the crash scene was fully blocked and drivers were urged to avoid the area or expect to be delayed.

According to Trooper Russ Winger, a motorcyclist was killed and the driver of the car was hurt, but her injuries were non-life-threatening.

The roadway was closed for authorities to investigate.
