Mom's Super Bowl surprise goes viral

LAKE FOREST PARK, Wash. — A Lake Forest Park woman flew to New York Thursday night with her son after being surprised with Super Bowl tickets.

Vicki Harris said, "What, what are you talking about?" after opening an envelope given to her by her son, Mike Harris. When he told her that there were Super Bowl tickets inside, she said, "No, no they're not." She didn't believe him, even when her son told her they were in the end zone, row 10.

Tears followed.

Mike Harris captured the surprise and his mom's reaction on video and posted it on YouTube.

It's gone viral with more than 700,000 views.

Vicki Harris and Mike Harris have made national news. Vicki Harris told one syndicated show, "I'm still like overwhelmed, it's unbelievable. I had no idea. This is like the No. 1 thing on my bucket list, just to go to a Seahawk Superbowl."

A sudden drop in ticket prices and decent airfares prompted Mike Harris to make his move. You could call it payback for a mom who once couldn't attend a Seahawks homecoming because she was pregnant with him.

Mike Harris told an interviewer, Obviously I didn't have much say in it then, because I would have said, Let's go.'"

Vicki Harris said, "I love him so much, it's just unbelievable." She can't wait to get to the Super Bowl.
