Mom arrested for DUI with toddler in car pleads not guilty

SEATTLE — A mother who was accused of drunken driving with her 2-year-old son pleaded not guilty Thursday morning.

Angela Waldo was arrested Monday after she backed her truck into a parked van, police said.

When officers arrived, Waldo appeared “unsteady on her feet, staggering and swaying.” Police also found half empty bottles of prescription pills in her truck and her 2-year-old son in a child seat. He wasn’t fastened in.

Waldo was arrested.

Three years ago, Waldo was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, child endangerment and negligent driving.

Waldo’s bail was set for $30,000 and her next court appearance is set for July 2.
