Men wanted in takeover robbery at Lacey pot dispensary


The woman now faces charges after alleged threats.

LACEY, Wash. - Employees at a Lacey medical marijuana dispensary were ordered into a bathroom at gunpoint while men robbed the store.

 The robbery occurred Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. at Earth Alternative Medicine at 1123 Sleater Kinney Road Southeast.

  Three employees were confronted by three men armed with handguns who ordered the employees into a bathroom.

  Two of the robbers removed marijuana and other products from the sales display area using bags they brought with them.

 During the robbery, three customers arrived at the business and were also detained by the men.

   Two of the robbers left through a rear door. One robber left through the front door and was followed by one of the employees.

 As the employee began to follow the robber away from the front door, the gunman fired multiple rounds from a handgun.

 No one was hurt.

 Police searched the area and used a K-9 unit, but the robbers were not found.

 Some of the marijuana taken during the robbery was dropped as the robbers fled northeast from the business. 

 The men are described black, 18-23 years old, wearing black hooded jackets and black hooded sweatshirts. All had their faces covered with hoods. One man was wearing black patent leather-style Nike shoes.
