Men break into apartment, pistol-whip occupants

KENT, Wash. — The occupants of an apartment in Kent where attacked by two men who broke into their home early Monday.

Police said the home invasion occurred at an apartment on 109th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 235th Street at 3:30 a.m.

The two men broke in, pistol-whipped the three victims and ransacked the apartment, investigators said.

Police said the intruders fled after stealing several items.

While one victim told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that he didn’t know the intruders, police said the victims did know their attackers.

The robbers remain at large.
