Officials with the Seattle Mariners announced that Ken Griffey Jr. will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.
SEATTLE — Griffey becomes the Hall of Fame's seventh member.
The induction ceremony will take place Aug. 10 before the Mariners game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Griffey spent 13 of his 22 seasons in the MLB with the Mariners before ending his career in June 2010.
