Man stabbed in head in Central District

SEATTLE — Police said a 53-year-old woman stabbed her boyfriend after an altercation in the Central District Wednesday morning.

Police were called to a home in the 100 block of 29th Avenue at 6:30 a.m.  A man said his girlfriend had stabbed him in the head and then fled in her car.

The man was treated by Seattle Fire Department medics for two, 3-inch cuts to the back of his head.

Police said he refused to cooperate with the investigation.

The woman remains at large.  Her car is a black 2000 four-door Ford Taurus.
