Man shot twice during robbery drives himself to hospital

A man drove himself to the hospital overnight after he was shot twice in a robbery attempt in North Seattle.
According to Seattle  police, officers were called out to Northwest Hospital for reports of a man who arrived there with gunshot wounds just after 1 a.m.

SEATTLE — The man was conscious and breathing and was able to provide some suspect information to police. He said he had driven his Cadillac Escalade to the area of 92nd Street and Woodlawn for a marijuana deal with three  men.

As the men discussed the deal, one of them brandished a handgun and demanded the man hand over his marijuana.

The victim did not cooperate and was shot in the chest and arm.
All three suspects ran away in an unknown direction and remain at large.

The victim fled the scene in his Cadillac and drove himself directly to the emergency room at Northwest Hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.  He was then transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Anyone with information about the shooting or who may know the identities or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at 206-684-5535.
