Man shot outside Seattle hookah bar

SEATTLE — A man was shot outside a Seattle hookah bar early Sunday.

Officers were called to 12th Avenue South and South Main Street at 3:38 a.m. for a report of shots fired, but the suspects and victim were gone when police arrived.

Police said the 25-year-old victim was at the Casa Blanca Hookah bar with friends.

They left the bar and were hanging out in the parking lot when some vehicles pulled up, a man got out and the victim and witnesses heard several gunshots.

The victim started running westbound toward South Main Street and did not realize that he had a gunshot wound to his lower leg until sometime later, investigators said.

The victim's friends transported him to Valley Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Renton Police Department officers went to Valley Medical Center to investigate and notified Seattle police.

Anyone with information about the shooting or may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call 911 or Seattle police.
