STANWOOD, Wash. - A Snohomish County deputy shot an armed suicidal man in the hand following a standoff near Stanwood Thursday morning.
When police arrived at a home in the 4500 block of Lakewood Road, the man began arguing with officers and refused to drop his gun.
Police said the deputy was forced to shoot the man in the hand to disarm him.
The man is expected to be OK.
