Police release photos in Edmonds bank robbery

Edmonds police have obtained surveillance photos of the suspect in the Alaska Credit Union robbery which occurred November 17th at 1:20PM.

EDMONDS, Wash. - Edmonds police are looking for a man who robbed an Edmonds bank Sunday afternoon. 

The robbery happened at the Alaska Credit Union, inside the Safeway at 23632 Highway 99 just before 1:30 p.m. 

Police said a man walked into the bank handed the teller a note that indicated he had a gun and to hand over all the money. 

The man then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and is still at large. 

Authorities described the man as Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall, small build, in his early 20s and with brown hair. He was seen wearing a checkered hoodie that had large squares, a white T-shirt and white and gray tennis shoes. Witnesses said the man had a scruffy beard and a slight mustache. 

Police will continue to investigate the incident.
