Man at large after crashing into patrol car

AUBURN, Wash. — Police are searching for a man who ran from King County deputies and got away after he crashed into an officer’s car, authorities said.

Investigators said the chase started in Federal Way when a deputy tried to stop a man on a motorcycle for reckless driving and speeding.

The pursuit passed through Kent and into Auburn where the man crashed into one of the deputies’ cars and then ran away, officers said.

Officers from several agencies helped look for the man, but he was not found.

The man left his motorcycle at the crash scene, and police said they know who the registered owner is and may be able to track him down using that information.
