Man killed in Tacoma motel room shooting

TACOMA, Wash. — Police said the body of a man was found in a Tacoma motel room after police received calls about gunshots.

Police were called to the Morgan Motel on Pacific Avenue South near South 70th Street shortly after midnight Friday.

Officers found the body of a man inside one of the rooms.  It appeared he had been shot.

Investigators are at the scene gathering evidence.
