Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found Saturday morning near 4th Avenue South and Edgar Martinez Drive South, a detective said Wednesday afternoon.
About 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28th, Seattle Fire Medics were flagged by a person regarding the man lying on the west sidewalk near the intersection.
“The person was under a blanket and in an obscure location off the road,” Detective Mark Jamieson said in a statement. “Medics checked on the man and discovered he was deceased. Seattle Fire called Seattle police to respond. Homicide detectives responded and determined the man, in his fifties, had suffered blunt force trauma injuries.”
