Man fatally shot at Tacoma house party

TACOMA, Wash. — A man was fatally shot at a Tacoma house party and the shooter remains at large, police said.

The shooting happened at a home in the 2000 block of South 29th Street around 1:45 a.m.

An argument started between a man at the party and an unknown man, who then pulled out a gun and shot several rounds at the man.

A witness told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that she was behind the victim when the shots were fired.

The man was taken to Tacoma General Hospital and was pronounced dead.

Police said the unknown man fled the scene in a light-colored older model SUV.

As of Sunday morning, police have been investigating the incident and the suspect remains at large.
