Man dies, woman injured in Auburn crash

AUBURN, Wash. — A man died and a woman was injured early Sunday morning in an Auburn crash, police said.

The collision happened at 2:10 a.m. in the 700 block of Auburn Way North.

According to police the vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole.

Police said a man in the passenger seat died at the scene and did not appear to have a seat belt on.

A woman driving the vehicle was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated.

No other vehicles were involved.

Authorities will continue to investigate the crash.
