SEATTLE - One man in a group of four put a gun to the back of another man’s head and then stole his car and wallet, Seattle police said.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, the victim called 911 to report an armed carjacking at Second Avenue and Battery Street in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
The victim said he was getting into his blue 2008 Audi A3 when he was approached from behind by four men in their teens to early 20s. The victim did not know the men.
One placed a handgun to the back of the victim’s head and demanded his wallet, cash and car keys.
The men also went through the victim's pockets.
When the victim tried to flee, the robbers grabbed him, ripping his shirt partially off in the process.
The robbers fled the scene in a silver minivan and the victim's car eastbound on Battery Street and then northbound on possibly Fourth or Fifth Avenue.
The victim was not hurt.
