SEATTLE — Detectives arrested a 46-year-old man Friday night in connection to the body found in a shopping cart Thursday in the Othello neighborhood of South Seattle.
Police said they arrested the man in the 9900 block of 14th Avenue South at 8:20 p.m. The man was booked into the King County Jail for the investigation of murder and an unrelated felony warrant.
On Thursday, police received reports of a man seen pushing a shopping cart that contained what appeared a pile of clothes with feet sticking out. Witnesses told police they saw the man leave the cart and walk away. When officers arrived, they found a body in the cart.
The victim has not been identified.
Police said the suspect and the victim knew each other.
