Man arrested after urinating on patrol car

SEATTLE — Officers arrested a man Tuesday evening in the University District after he was caught urinating on the door of a patrol vehicle, police said.

The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. when the officers parked the car in a lot at 47th Street and University Way.

The officers got out of their vehicle and went on a directed patrol.

When the officers returned to their car, they caught a man mid-stream, police said.

The man was told to zip up his pants by the officers and to put his hands on a nearby wall so they could pat him down.

The officers took the man to the North Precinct, and cited him for public urination. He was later released.
