Man accused of looking at child porn on Monroe library computer

MONROE, Wash. - Police were called to the Monroe public library Monday for a report that a man was looking at child pornography on a computer there.

According to a police report, when an officer approached the suspect, 61-year-old Terry Farr, he began clicking frantically.  The officer said when he reached the computer, it was on the login screen.

The officer found a set of pictures next the computer that had been printed.  All of the photos appeared to be anime versions of young girls, some of which were nude and pornographic.

A witness interviewed by the officer said she saw Farr viewing a collage of pornographic photos that were real people and not drawn characters, and among the photos was a 3 or 4 year old girl with a penis in front of her.  The witness also told the officer she saw a photo of naked buttocks but could not identify the age of the person in the photo.

Based on witness observations and a variety of incest and family anime pornography printed by the man, Farr was arrested on charges of possession of depictions of minors engaged in explicit conduct and distribution of child pornography.

A Pure Digital media device with multiple ports for TV viewing and video recording was found on Farr, and was seized by the officer.
