Major pot bust interrupts neighborhood Easter egg hunt

SALMON CREEK, Wash. — A neighborhood Easter egg hunt was cut short Saturday by a large scale pot bust.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, a man started screaming Saturday that his roommates were going to shoot him.

Deputies says the incident was connected to an ongoing alleged large-scale unlicensed marijuana distribution operation.

The families involved in the Easter egg hunt quickly dispersed as police flooded the scene.

Detectives report finding more than 45 pounds of processed marijuana – a street value of over $202,000.

The pot was recovered from a home in the 13000 block of NE 3rd Court.

Authorities also retrieved over $108,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

No guns were found during the incident.

Three suspects were booked into the Clark County Jail: Charles J. Yorkovich, 24, Joseph E. Sullivan, 24, and Jordan M. Long, 27. All three are from Vancouver.
