Major damage to home in late night fire

LACEY, Wash. - Firefighters were called out to a single story home in the 5700 block of 20th Ave. SE. in Lacey around 11 p.m. Monday night. When they arrived, the attached garage of the home was completely engulfed and the fire had spread to the house itself.

Everyone inside the house was able to get out safely and there were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters. The fire was put out quickly but damage to the home was extensive. The Lacey Fire Department estimates the loss at $150,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
