Woman's wedding ring found after fall into Lake Washington

A woman who lost her wedding ring into Lake Washington found it again thanks to help from the Mercer Island Marine Patrol Dive Team.

The woman’s ring fell off her hand when she was sitting on a dock.

“Marine Patrol Sergeant and Dive Team Leader Brian Noel was contacted and asked if the team could help,” a dive team spokesperson wrote on Facebook. “Not wanting to turn down an opportunity to assist a resident and get some good grid search pattern training in at the same time, he assembled some members of the team.

“With a little luck and a sharp eye, Corporal Dave Herzog located and recovered the ring. He put it on his middle finger and surfaced with it!”
