A weak tornado in Monroe toppled trailers and crushed a car on Thursday, the National Weather Service confirmed.

KIRO 7 Meteorologists first identified a weak rotation near Monroe around 10:30 a.m. when some people reported wind or weak tornado damage.
"An examination of Doppler Radar wind velocities shows some dark green vs. nearby dark red moving SE along US-2 into Monroe. That's weak rotation but coincides with the time of minor damage," KIRO 7 Meteorologist Morgan Palmer explained.
Photos on social media show overturned trailers and a crushed car at a Monroe RV dealership. KIRO 7 News obtained surveillance video that showed the trailers being knocked over by the wind or possible tornado.

No one was injured.
The damage in Monroe is isolated.
A Monroe police spokeswoman said officers observed a trampoline being blown into Lords Lake during high winds.
The National Weather Service reviewed the storm and reported it a EF 0 tornado touched down briefly on Thursday morning.
