TACOMA, Wash. - A vigil is set for this weekend for a Pierce County man who was beaten into a coma in what prosecutors are calling a savage and unprovoked attack.
The attack happened last Friday night outside a Puyallup bar.
Investigators believe James Foster complimented Daman Lehman about his car, and when he asked him what type of rims he had, investigators said Lehman exploded and hit Foster several times.
Foster has been unconscious and unresponsive ever since. His parents think he may also be partially paralyzed.
His family plans to hold a vigil for their son at Tacoma General Hospital on Saturday at 8 p.m.
