Very warm Wednesday

There are some high clouds moving across the area this morning but we'll have sunny skies early and for the entire day with only some of those high clouds filtering sunshine from time to time.

This afternoon we'll have highs in the 70s from the Tacoma area north with some sporadic 80s in places like Olympia, Chehalis and Hoquiam.  The record for today is 77° and Seattle should hit 78°.

The coast will be cooler Thursday as onshore flow develops there but it won't reach Puget Sound in time to prevent an even warmer day.  We'll expect 80 or warmer from the Seattle area south, with mid 70s north but 60s at the coast.  The record for tomorrow in Seattle is 82° and the high should be around 81°.

The onshore flow will bring more clouds back to the area on Friday but it looks like rain chances hold off until Friday night or Saturday morning.  Then, we'll have some rain from time to time this weekend (and a bit breezy) Saturday with fewer showers Sunday.  Highs this weekend will be back cooler than normal in the mid to upper 50s.
