Three people pulled from Green River; woman suffers life-threatening injuries

AUBURN, Wash. — Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, the King County Sheriff’s Office Marine Rescue Dive Unit responded to a report of three people who were stranded in the Green River at Flaming Geyser Park in Auburn.

The group were in the river when the inner tubes they were on flipped and they landed in the river. They washed up on a small island in the river until they were rescued.

A woman who was rescued received CPR at the scene and was flown to Harborview. The King County Sheriff's Office said she is suffering from life-threatening injuries.
