Two men dead after Porsche hits tree, slides down embankment

MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal accident Saturday after a car slammed into a tree and slid down an embankment in Maple Valley.

Two men died in the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The vehicle, a silver Porche, appears to have heavy damage to the roof and front end.

The incident occurred near Southeast 288^th and Black Diamond Road Southeast.

Speed is a likely factor. No further details have been released.
