TUKWILA, Wash. — Officers with the Tukwila Police Department arrested a felon on an outstanding warrant Thursday morning.
Police said around 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a man stripping parts off vehicles (see photos below) at an abandoned property on Military Road South.
“Officers located the suspect who is a convicted felon from Burien. Officers also located a stolen van in front of the property that was associated with the suspect,” Tukwila police said.
A Federal Way woman, with felony narcotic convictions, was also located in the van.
Police said neither the man or the woman knew the owner of the van.
The registered owner was contacted by police to retrieve the van.
The male was booked into jail on a misdemeanor warrant, police said.
