ISLAND COUNTY, Wash. — Three people were injured in a head-on crash Saturday evening on State Route 525 in Island County.
Washington State Patrol said the crash involved two SUVs.
Two people were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, and another person was taken to a local hospital.
The crash caused both directions of SR 525 to be closed at Smugglers Cover Road.
Troopers said no one was taken into custody.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
