Tentacle stolen from Oak Harbor Kraken

Part of one of Oak Harbor's most controversial pieces of artwork has been stolen.

Someone took a copper tentacle from the city’s Kraken sculpture.

The photo of the sculpture from the Whidbey News-Times (above) shows when it was installed in February of last year.

The city paid $33,000 for the statue.

Police believe the tentacle was stolen for the copper.

If you know anything about the missing art piece, call Oak Harbor police.
