Patrick Boyer, 18, was crossing Broadway in South Everett on Saturday night with some friends. They were on their way home after walking to a mini mart when Boyer was hit by a car.

The car, described as an 80s or 90s black Cadillac sedan, hit Boyer and kept going. The teens weren't in a crosswalk but were at Broadway and Adams when the crash happened.

Boyer is badly injured. He has 35 staples in his head, arm and leg.

Miraculously, he did not have any broken bones. Doctors are worried about Boyer's head injury and the circulation in his badly injured right leg.

Boyer and his friends say the car that hit them sped up before striking Boyer. Police are investigating the accident and have video from a nearby tow yard they hope will help.

Neither police nor the tow yard will release the video.

Investigators have the car's driver-side mirror, which was left behind at the crash scene.
