BOTHELL, Wash. — A stretch of State Route 522 in Bothell was closed for hours in both directions after an overnight rollover crash.
The highway was closed between 96th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 180th Street after a car hit a utility pole.
The crash happened about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, but the road was still closed Monday morning because utility workers had to replace poles and wires damaged in the crash.
At 4:48 a.m., Bothell police said the road may be closed for as long as four more hours. The highway finally reopened shortly before 9 a.m.
Bothell police said the driver was taken to the hospital after the crash.
