"Overall light snow will continue this morning with trace amounts to an inch on the high side. However, we've already had more than that around Sea-Tac and the surrounding area and will continue to see more until the Convergence Zone wraps up," KIRO 7 Meteorologist Nick Allard said.

Pierce County residents told KIRO 7 News that some snow fell in Orting and Elbe. In south King County,  around two inches fell in Burien.

A Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect for much of the area until 10 a.m.

Most of the showers will end later this morning with just some spotty snow showers on and off throughout the day. Look for a cold breeze out of the north with wind chills below freezing.  Sunday night, any residual moisture could freeze on roadways so we'll watch that for the Monday morning drive.

Following this, we could have three or more days during the first work week of 2017 where Seattle doesn't get above freezing. That hasn't happened since December 2008.    Highs will be in the 20s to low 30s and lows in the teens and 20s through Thursday.
