BURIEN, Wash. — A skateboarding man was struck and killed by a car in Burien Saturday morning, police said.
The man in his 30s was skateboarding down a hill on SW 138th Street.
When he crossed First Avenue South, he rolled directly into the path of a car, police said.
Officers with the Burien Police Department said the car swerved to avoid the man but struck him.
The skateboarder died at the scene.
Police said there is no evidence of drug or alcohol use by the driver.
