FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Update: The Washington State Patrol reports that Daniel Connell was found safe and the silver alert has been canceled, according to the News Tribune.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 67-year-old Federal Way man who suffers from dementia, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Daniel E. Connell was last seen at his home in Federal Way around 7:20 a.m. Connell has previously stated that he was trying to get to California, according to police.
Connell is described as a 6-foot-tall 160-pound man with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black coat and beige shoes, and was carrying a duffel bag.
Anyone with information on Connell's location is asked to call 253-835-2121.
