Silver alert issued for missing Everett man

EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding Rick Metzger, 65, who was last seen at 4 a.m. Monday at 10710 Evergreen Way, #H203.

Metzger is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 10 inches, with shoulder length white hair, and a shaggy beard. He is said to walk with a limp. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, and is likely to be wearing a dark colored jacket.

Metzger was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's and "has an attachment to Mukilteo Beach by the ferry terminal, so he may try to make his way there," according to police.

Anyone with information about Metzger's location is asked to call the Everett Police tip line at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-Tips.
