With school back in session, safety in getting to and from school is a priority for many parents in Western Washington.
Now, a startup called Zendrive has created an interactive map with a system for grading the safety of the roads surrounding school activity areas.
Many roads in Western Washington received failing grades.
You can check this website to find out the grade given to your school zone: http://www.nsc.org/learn/NSC-Initiatives/Pages/Road-to-Zero-Grants.aspx
King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties all got a D rating.
King County is the only county in Western Washington for which data for specific school zones is given.
