Seattle has been named one of the best large cities to live in the U.S., according to a new study.

A study by WalletHub compared the 62 largest U.S. cities based on 56 "indicators of attractiveness," including quality of public schools, life expectancy and property taxes.

Seattle came in at No. 3 behind Virginia Beach, Virginia and Austin, Texas.

The Emerald City scored high in a number of categories, including first in economy and "education and health." Seattle might have scored even higher if it hadn't been for the affordability ranking -- it ranked at 50.

Detroit, Memphis and Cleveland rounded out the bottom of the list.
