Seattle-Bainbridge ferry sailing canceled after boat bumps dock

No injuries or damage was reported. The ferry was going less than 2 knots when it hit the dock.

A Washington State Ferry bumped the Bainbridge ferry dock after a propulsion problem and at least one sailing was canceled Thursday afternoon.

The M/V Wenatchee bumped the dock shortly before noon. The sailing left Seattle at 10:40 a.m. and the route takes about 35 minutes. The Wenatchee has a capacity of 2,499 passengers and 202 vehicles.

No injuries or damage was reported. The ferry was going less than 2 knots when it hit the dock.
