Searchers looking for hiker missing in Mount Skokomish area

MASON COUNTY, Wash. — Search and rescue teams are looking for a hiker in the Mount Skokomish area.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call Tuesday about 20-year-old Zach Krull.

While the sheriff’s office said they didn’t know how long Krull had been missing, his father, Steven Krull, said on Tuesday that his son went camping and hiking on Saturday and had been missing for more than 24 hours.

Steven Krull said Zach’s last known location was near the Lake Cushman/Mount Skokomish wilderness areas.

Searchers have set up a grid system to look for Zach.
