RENTON, Wash. — After starting right guard D.J. Fluker went down with a hamstring injury against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Fluker will be sidelined for "a little while."

It's a huge loss for the Seahawks offensive line, which will try and find a way to get the job done against the Vikings on Monday Night Football.

"We've faced really good defenses all year,” said Seahawks center Justin Britt. “We've excelled and put up the numbers and did what we had to do to succeed. (It’s really) another great opportunity, nothing special.”

It's also an opportunity for the Seahawks to grab their fourth straight win, and keep their playoff hopes alive with just a few games left in the regular season.

"You take one moment at a time, one game a time, one practice at a time. You stay poised in the midst of it all,” Russell Wilson, a Seahawks quarterback, said. “That allows you to have a championship belief and a championship opportunity to do something great.”

Two former Seahawks players are returning to CenturyLink Field for Monday Night Football. We caught up with Justin Britt to get his thoughts on going up against defensive tackles Sheldon Richardson and Tom Johnson on the big stage.

“They’ll know how I set, how I run-block,” said Britt. “I’m sure they’ll say the same thing: we just got to be right and not worry about them being on the team in the past. You’re just going out there and seeing a defensive tackle and going out there and taking care of business.”

The Seahawks are ready for this huge challenge in front of a nationally televised audience.

"What we're gonna have to do is just be really sharp in terms of our preparation, be rock solid on third-down, be rock solid in the red zone and see where that leads us,” said Wilson.
