Seahawks' chocolate lab 'Turf' to be featured on Animal Planet

Turf, the 'wildlife control officer' for the Seattle Seahawks practice facility will be featured on Friday's episode of "Animal Cribs" at 10 p.m. on Animal Planet.

Home designer Antonio Ballatore will help Turf's owners "turn their laundry room into a fully operational doggy spa with a walk-in shower, and (transform their) lackluster backyard into a dog paradise, complete with a football themed play area and a paddling pool," the Seahawks said in a press release.

Turf, a chocolate lab, first debuted at the VMAC during training camp in 2013 when he was just eight weeks old.

On 'Animal Cribs', Ballatore, "his project manager Grace, and his right-hand dog Chewie the bulldog along with a team of Catsperts and Barkitects, transform drab, cramped homes and outside areas into functional, high-style spaces for both pets and the people they love."
