KENT — A 24-year-old man was arrested after an iPod was found taped inside a urinal at Northwood Middle School in Kent.

Detectives say the employee, a paid intern with the school district’s information technology department, admitted to taking video with the iPod.

A student notified the school about the iPod on Oct. 26. According to a news release, the student also found notes of “a nonsexual nature” that appeared to be addressed specifically to him taped to the side of a urinal. The iPod was taped inside of the same urinal.

School officials determined the iPod belonged to an employee. He was removed from service and the King County Sheriff's Office was notified.

The man was arrested Tuesday. The Sheriff's Office booked him for investigation of voyeurism. According to KCSO, the man admitted to detectives that he was taking video for sexual gratification.

Detectives did not find evidence of any other victims while executing the search warrant for the iPod.
