First responders were searching for two missing windsurfers in Snohomish County near Kayak Point Sunday.
One of the two had been located and hoisted out of the water by around 3:20 p.m.; the second was removed from the water by a good Samaritan around 3:30 p.m.
A search-and-rescue crew from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded, as well as dive teams, a Port Angeles air crew and a U.S. Coast Guard STA Seattle boat.
Friends of the missing male surfers said one had been missing for around 15 minutes; the other for an hour.
