TACOMA, Wash. — A diver rescued by strangers after an accident near a Tacoma beach was rushed to the hospital Thursday.
The diver was having trouble breathing near Titlow Beach Park, Tacoma fire officials said. The diver's condition is unknown.

Eyewitnesses tell KIRO 7 two people swam out and pulled the diver from the water. West Pierce fire officials transported the diver, a female, to the emergency room.
The circumstance surrounding the accident are unclear.
